Be gone the days of ‘dressing dilemmas’. A stylist’s plight, answered in one huge swoop from this styling start-up Sosandar. They promise it’s what we’ve been waiting for…the latest trends and wardrobe staples that can work in real life, with flattering pieces to suit different body shapes and skin tones. Too good to be true? I think not. Their dresses should become part of your top 5 wardrobe staples. I’ve donned two of the Sosandar v-neck dresses over the past 2 weeks. Firstly, the Red Floral Splash tea dress, £69 (CLICK to buy) and the Pink Tie Shoulder Maxi Dress, £59, (CLICK to buy) both quite frankly superb for my hourglass shape, or indeed would complement a pear shape, strawberry or athletic type, particularly if you want to show off your waist. Both dresses are lined, though generous in size (I’m a 10, 5ft 8”), but needed to size down to an 8 – cue my inner feel good high-five! AND what is more, I can wear a bra with both styles, in fact many of the Sosandar dresses and tops are suitable for bigger busts (and go up to size 18!). Given the average bust size in the UK is 34DD (according to research from lingerie brand BlueBella)…Sosandar are most definitely onto a winner.
One staple Sosandar dress, two ways.
Paired with my most invaluable wardrobe staples:
A leather jacket & pointy flats
Killer heels & cross body bag
Faith, from ASOS, red pointed flat shoes (size 3-8 UK) (mine are old M&S flats), £22.
Dressing up the Sosandar tea dress ; sling off the leather and add killer heels alongside your favourite Gucci cross body.
Sosandar bowled me over with their easy to wear maxi dresses, this was my pick of the bunch for my trip to Hampton Court Palace, it’s in stock currently, but only in sizes 10-16. I’m wearing a 10.
It’s not only dresses though, Sosandar have a myriad of other wardrobe staples; leather jackets, a plethora of jumpsuits, black trousers and basic boots. Here are some of my favourite bloggers and influencers adopting the Sosandar style:
I mean, it’s not often you find a one-stop-shop for your binge shopping, but hey, I can now rely on Sosandar for bona-fida showstoppers, (it even went as far as fighting off the strangers in the ice cream van queue who were clammering to ask where the dress was from). I genuinely believe they have designed an ‘out and out’ definitive collection; powerful, credible and scintillatingly satisfying for real women.
The only difficulty now, is not blowing my pay check in one go.
(NB This is not an advert and I haven’t been paid for this blog, these are my own opinions, however the dresses were a gift).
