Festival Fashion Top 10 tips

OKmums, need some style tips for festival fashion? It may have been a while since your last festival or you may well count down the days each year to your next ‘give it large’ weekend at the likes of the family friendly Big Feastival 25-27 August in the Cotswolds or Wilderness 3-6 August in Oxfordshire, but this year I have rounded up easy to follow festival fashion style tips so you only have to fret about where the kids are, rather than worrying about how many tassels are appropriate or where you put the spare packs of raisons.  Comfort and practicality are the buzz words but you really don’t want to be seen on the style side-lines. ...

Wimbledon style top tips

What to wear to Wimbledon? Wimbledon is gripped with tennis fever as the world descends onto SW19 for one of England’s most famous tournaments of all time.  The next two weeks are blocked out on my social calendar and I’m busy checking out the ultimate in sartorial standards, the style do’s and don’ts on the court and off the court…where the ladies shop and what to wear to Wimbledon this year.   LK Bennett Occassion-wear with Yellow Mariel bag and Camilla Tote bag. Will you bare your bralette?

bralette style
Does underwear as outerwear make you run for the hills? Will you bare your bralette or keep it slightly more under wraps, a few lace edges peeping out to show off your feminine side? (remembering to steer clear of the peep show look of course…) It could be seen as a trend for the brave – wearing them on top of T’s or on their own (a la Kendall and Cara) , but my tip for feminine appeal without salacious overload is to layer under a lace top, blazer or shirt.  It softens and updates the popular androgynous boyfriend jean/masculine shirt look too. If you need extra support, like me wink wink, my reco is to layer the bralette...
